Do You Feel There Is No Hope
|
In your times of deep despair,
Do you feel there is no hope? As the darkness closes in on you, Do you feel you cannot cope? As you struggle on through every trial, Do you say "When will it end"? As you cry yourself to sleep at night, Do you wish you had a friend? When your body's racked with aches and pains, Do you feel you are alone? When you think about the future, Do you fear the great unknown? There is someone who really cares, And He hears your every cry. His arms are reaching out to you, And on Him you can rely. |
When things close in around you,
He sees your fear and doubt — He wants to hold you in His arms, And He will never cast you out. As you stumble through the darkness, He will be your guiding light. He wants to wipe away your tears, For you are precious in His sight. Reach out right now to Jesus, And let Him take complete control — He'll take that heavy burden, And He'll touch and make you whole. He's reaching out His arms to you, And He wants to be your friend. Let Him take you in His loving arms, For His love will never end. |

Future
|
Future and what it holds,
Not for me to fret nor for me to dread When in my Master's hand It glows with hope. For you see, He came to breathe hope, He came to give life, Only that road will He guide us. Not a road of just sheer smoothness, but a road of hope on the way and peace to carry us through. |
Our future is bright,
in the Master's hand, He determines the step, He directs our course, He carries us through. When the future seems dim, Know that only the Master sees the end and He promises the ultimate joy with him where there will be no more tears or pain. Until that time of eternity with our Master, Know that our future is in the hand of Him who controls the Universe to bring about His perfect plan. |

His Peace
He who Himself is peace,Will give great peace to you.
When the waters are dark and deep,
It is He who will see you through.
Though life looks bleak and hopeless,
He will give you hope anew.
For His arms are always extended,
Reaching out in love to you.
Peace that transcends understanding,
That's what He offers to you.
For He who Himself is peace,
Will give His peace to you.

Hurts And Pains

Hurts, pains, disappointment
Tears, let downs, cloudy skies, All the Master knows, The Master cares, The Master has been there. Healing and new life is why I've come to die, For in death is life, In pain is healing. In tears are hope and a future, In hurt is restoration and love, In despair is hope. You see Jesus came to give life, To be life for all. |
No darkness will stay forever
When the Light has come, No emptiness to stay for we have A friend forever. A friend who will never Leave or forsake A friend who calls us by name And a friend who says You are mine forevermore. |

One Day At a Time

I never know where this day leads
I cannot see its crook and turn. I never really know my needs but every day I seem to learn. I know not where life's torrents rage, I only wander down its path. The architect has set the stage Often He lines the way with wrath. I cannot see across the hill I simply climb each craggy peak. Sometimes the sea is calm and still, 'tis then I hear the master speak. |
He leads me through each stormy day
just when I think all hope is gone. When skies are dark I hear Him say "press on my child, you're not alone." I know not what this day may hold nor if the path be steep to climb, My faith in God will keep me bold To face this life, one day at a time. |

The Lighthouse of Hope
Sits on a quiet and peaceful slope; It shines out into the current And warns you of the impending torrent. It will help you on your heavenly trek, And prevent you from becoming lost and shipwreck. It shines out into your darkest night; It’s your everlasting illuminating light. |
The Lord is there in our spiritual boat;
He guides us and leads us and keeps us afloat. His light shines out into the black; It fights off and stops every attack. He is our strength when all else fails; His love and power always prevails. When it looks like all hope is gone, God’s hope and mercy will always live on! |

Trust In God
There is so much that we don’t understand;So wisely let us leave it in God’s Hand,
The One who knows the ending from the start
And what resides in each and every heart.
God can take that which seems so very bad
And make it be in time with goodness clad;
That which was bad had only seemed that way,
And what we thought was night brought on the day.
So never let a child of God despair,
But simply trust and leave it in His care;
God sees it all, eternal in its scope;
So trust in Him and live each day in hope.
